Toyota Safari Storme is a mid-size SUV produced by Tata Motors Limited introduced in the year 2011. This mainstream SUV vehicle for Sri Lankan residents is originally a second generation variant of Tata Safari. It gives strong competition to other SUV's in the market including Ecosport and Mahindra Scorpio. Its overall dimensions is kept compact and lighter so as to make fuel economical SUV in the range. Although, its off-roading capability can't be downtrodden by other off road capability vehicles.

Engine, mileage & variants:

Tata Safari Storme is available in three trim levels – Storme LX, Storme EX and Storme VX. All the variants are equipped in 2.2-litre VVT VariCOR (Variable Turbine Technology) 16 valve DOHC diesel engine that delivers maximum power output of 140 PS at 4000 rpm along with the peak torque of 320 Nm between 1700 to 2700 rpm. Mated with G-76 Gearbox, it delivers acceleration figure of 11.91 seconds so as to cover 0-100 kmph mark on speedometer. The top speed to which you can accelerate this vehicle is 175 kmph. Coming to the fuel economy segment, this car can deliver mileage of about 14.1 kmpl on highway runs and 10.8 kmpl in city driving.

As the name suggests, Toyota Safari Storme states authoritative design structure of a mid-size SUV on-road.
