Micro Rexton W is a mid-sized SUV which was although introduced by SsangYong Motor Company in year 2001 but is sold under brand name of “Micro” in Sri Lanka. The car, Rexton W relies completely on Mercedes-Benz M-class W163 platform and is known by the name of Huanghai Aurora in China and Derways Aurora in Russia. The mid-size SUV dwells a 5 door wagon body style and was designed by Italy designer Giugiaro. The car is currently present in its second generation and was launched as a replacement of the original Rexton. Micro Rexton W is sporty with a 2.0 liter diesel engine with inline 4 cylinders, Common rail direct fuel injection, E-Tronic 5 speed automatic Mercedes transmission configuration that burns a maximum power of 155 hp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 360 Nm at 1500 to 2800 rpm.
