Tata Motors and DIMO to jointly introduce ZEST and BOLT in Sri Lanka
COLOMBO: Tata Motors and DIMO jointly introduced two latest cars, Zest and Bolt, in the Sri Lankan automobile market, these two are the latest products of the Tata Motors. The manufacturing quality is outstanding with astonishing new design, serves delight driving, and carries well equipped features. Both the cars are manufactured in Pune, India.
The Zest will come with a new gasoline engine, which will be India's initial Multi-point Fuel Injection (MPFi) 1.2L Turbocharged Petrol engine. The 1.2L Revotron petrol engine is the perfect mix of power, performance, fuel economy and refinement, which carries eccentric Multi-Drive Mode technology in this segment. 'Multi-Drive Mode' technology provides three driving modes, Sport, Eco and City, with a high-level of throttle response.
The Zest diesel equipped with 1.3 liter Qutrajet Diesel engine with F-Tronic technology-permit, 5-speed Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT). Tata Motors offers their customer with ConnectNext experience, Tata motors together with HARMAN to design a nice sound system, with features like 5 inch Touch screen, infotainment system, SMS notification and read outs, Automatic Temperature Controls on the touch screen.
The Zest will come in four variants in Petrol – XE, XM, XMS, XT and five diesel variants – XE, XM, XMS, XMA (AMT) and XT.
The Bolt will carry both diesel and petrol engine, which will come with DriveNext features which makes it better than other cars in its segment. It is powered by 1.2 L Turbocharged Multi-point Fuel Injection (MPFI) Petrol engine and the Diesel engine is of 1.3L, which produces a power of 75PS @ 4000 RPM and torque of 190 NM @ 1750 – 3000 RPM with decent delivery of power. The Interior is of good quality and gives astonishing feeling to the passenger.
The starting ex-showroom price of Zest will be Rs. 2,810,000, Colombo, for petrol variant and ex-showroom price of diesel will be Rs. 3,900,000.
Bolt ex-showroom price will be Rs. 2,299,000, Colombo for Petrol variant. The cars will be for sale over 37 DIMO sales outlet in country from today.
